TO ENCOURAGE THE GROWTH OF THE EXISTING INDUSTRIES AND BUSINESSES, WHILE GIVING ALL PROPER ASSISTANCE TO ANY NEW FIRMS OR INDIVIDUALS SEEKING TO LOCATE IN THE BELMOND, IA AREA. TO PROACTIVELY RECRUIT, ATTRACT AND AID IN SECURING NEW BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY THROUGH A VARIETY OF MEANS, TO INCLUDE LOCATING, DEVELOPING, AND MAKING AVAILABLE SUITABLE COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL SITES AND LOCATIONS.
