SEQUOIA DHARMA PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL, EXPERIENTIAL, AND ARTS PROGRAMS THAT PROMOTE THE PRESERVATION AND STEWARDSHIP OF THE ENVIRONMENT. SUCH PROGRAMS EDUCATE PARTICIPANTS AS TO SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY BUILDING PRACTICES, AND INCLUDE ARTS PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO CONNECT INDIVIDUALS WITH NATURE. SEQUOIA DHARMAS INTENT IS TO SUPPORT LOW-INCOME, AND DISADVANTAGED MEMBERS OF LOCAL COMMUNITIES THROUGH ITS PROGRAMS.

SEQUOIA DHARMA HAS INITIALLY IDENTIFIED AN IDEAL SITE TO BE USED AS A BASE FOR EXPERIENTIAL, EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS AND RETREATS. LOCATED IN THE FOOTHILLS OF THE SIERRA MOUNTAINS, NESTLED BETWEEN SEQUOIA AND KINGS CANYON NATIONAL PARKS. WITH CLOSE ACCESS TO KEY FOCUS GROUPS IN THE CHALLENGED SOCIO ECONOMIC AREAS OF MADERA, FRESNO AND TULARE. THE LAND HAS BEEN CULTIVATED OVER THE PAST 20 YEARS INTO A SELF-SUSTAINABLE, BIO DIVERSE WORKING FARM-RANCH.
