I BELONG PROJECT CREATED 53 VIDEOS SHOWCASING CHILDREN LOOKING FOR ADOPTIVE FAMILIES. 17 CHILDREN WERE PLACED IN ADOPTIVE HOMES. 176 PEOPLE INQUIRED ABOUT BECOMING ADOPTIVE PARENTS. OVER 13,000 PEOPLE WERE REACHED WITH THE VIDEOS AND MESSAGING.
FOSTER FRIENDLY BUSINESSES CREATED A FOSTER FRIENDLY APP TO ALLOW LOCAL BUSINESSES TO PROVIDE DISCOUNTS AND SERVICES TO CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN THE FOSTER CARE SYSTEM. 62 NEW BUSINESSES WERE RECRUITED. 435 FOSTER PARENTS ARE UTILIZING THE APP AND BENEFITING FROM THE SERVICES AND DISCOUNTS.
STRONGER FAMILIES TOGETHER A STATEWIDE COLLABORATION TO ELEVATE QUALITY CARE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THOSE IMPACTED BY FOSTER CARE ADOPTION. THE INITIATIVE HAS LEAD TO 300 NEW CERTIFIED FOSTER HOMES AND A RECORD YEAR FOR FOSTER FAMILY RECRUITMENT. ESTABLISHED A TRIBAL FOSTER FAMILY COMMITTEE WITH 10 MEMBERS THAT JUST LICENCED THEIR FIRST FOSTER PARENT.
