COBRT PARTNERS WORKS TO IMPROVE THE BUSINESS CLIMATE IN OUR STATE BY FOCUSING ON KEY PILLARS FOR A SUSTAINABLE, GROWING, AND GLOBAL ECONOMY: REIMAGINING TOMORROW'S WORKFORCE, PRIORITIZING A COMPETITIVENESS AGENDA, AND EMBRACING A FUTURE FORWARD INFRASTRUCTURE.

COBRT HAS SUPPORTED ADVOCACY ACTIVITIES AND EDUCATIONAL EFFORTS AMONG COLORADO BUSINESS ROUNDTABLE PARTNER COMPANIES AND STRATEGIC PARTNERS. ACTIVITIES AND IMPACT FOR 2023 INCLUDED DRAFTING POLICY POSITION STATEMENTS, CONVENING POLICY PILLAR MEETINGS, DISTRIBUTING QUANTITATIVE AND QUALITATIVE RESEARCH, AND CREATING VIDEO AND DIGITAL ADVERTISEMENTS AS PART OF A STORY-TELLING STRATEGY. HIGHLIGHTS OF 2023 INCLUDE CONVENING A PUBLIC EVENT, IMMIGRATION AS A WORKFORCE ISSUE, WITH OUR PARTNERS AT MSU DENVER AND CONVENING A PRIVATE MEETING WITH GOVERNOR POLIS, THE NATIONAL BUSINESS ROUNDTABLE AND OUR COBRT PARTNERS TO COLLABORATE ON SOLUTIONS TO MODERNIZE IMMIGRATION.


COBRT OFFERED A SERIES OF CONVENINGS AND POLICY ROUNDTABLES, INCLUDING THE STATE OF THE STATE WITH COLORADO'S GOVERNOR, VIEW FROM THE TOP CEO PANEL, AND FUTURE OF WORK IN 2023. THESE EVENTS BRING TOGETHER APPROXIMATELY 400 ATTENDEES - THOUGHT LEADERS, CEOS, EXECUTIVES FROM ACADEMIA, BUSINESS, COMMUNITY AND GOVERNMENT - IN PERSON AND LIVESTREAM. EACH EVENT IS ALSO VIDEOTAPED AND THE VIDEO IS AVAILABLE ON THE COBRT WEBSITE FOR LARGER AUDIENCES. ADDITIONALLY, COBRT PRODUCED A PRINT AND DIGITAL REPORT THAT SHOWCASED WORKFORCE BEST PRACTICES FROM OUR PARTNERS.
