THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE AND THOSE WHO DIRECTLY AFFILIATE WITH THE FOUNDATION. THIS INCLUDES TEACHING A HISTORY OF RACING AND AUTOMOBILES; ENCOURAGING TEAM WORK AND A SENSE OF COMMUNITY THROUGH COLLABORATION WITH OTHER PROGRAMS; AND COACHING PROPER DRIVING TECHNIQUES AND COMPETITION. IT IS DEDICATED TO LIFTING THE SPIRITS AND CREATING OPPORTUNITIES OF INSPIRATION FOR CHILDREN THROUGHOUT THE INTERMOUNTAIN WEST BY PROVIDING THEM WITH UNIQUE ACCESS TO EVENTS AND TRAINING THAT WOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE TO THEM DUE TO THE HIGH COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SPORT. SPECIFICALLY THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTS HANDS-ON EDUCATION AND SAFETY PROGRAMS, RECOGNIZES EXCELLENCE IN AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING EDUCATION AND PROMOTES AMATEUR AUTO-RACING. THE FOUNDATION, IN COOPERATION WITH UTAH MOTORSPORTS CAMPUS, WILL TEACH AND EDUCATE YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS IN HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN AMATEUR RACING. AS PART OF ITS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING, THE FOUNDATION MAY OWN ONE OR MORE VEHICLES AND OPERATE OR SUPPORT A TEAM. PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN HOW TO OPERATE SUCH A PROGRAM AND THE SKILLS, DRIVE AND AMBITION NECESSARY TO SUCCEED IN LIFE.
