THE VICTORIA PROJECT IS A COMMUNITY HEALING FUND COMMITTED TO SUPPORTING ACCESS TO HOLISTIC MATERNITY CARE.

UNDER THE HICS GRANT PROGRAM, THE ORGANIZATION DISTRIBUTES GRANTS TODESERVING, FINANCIALLY DISADVANTAGED INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES TOSUBSIDIZE THEIR COST OF HOLISTIC INTIMATE CARE SERVICES PERTAINING TO THEIR REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH. IN 2022, IT SUPPORTED 140 PATIENTS IN ACCESSING: MIDWIFERY CARE, BIRTH DOULAS SERVICES, POSTPARTUM DOULA SERVICES, PREGNANCY LOSS DOULA SERVICES,NUTRITION AND MEAL SERVICES, LACTATION SUPPORT AND PHYSICAL THERAPY SERVICES THAT WAS CULTURALLY REFLECTIVE OF THE CLIENT'S RACE AND ETHNICITY. SUBSIDIES WERE PAID DIRECTLY TO APPROXIMATELY 145 CARE PROVIDERS, THUS SUPPORTING THE GROWTH AND SUSTAINABILITY OF THESE PRACTITIONERS SO THAT MANY MORE PATIENTS MAY CONTINUE TO RECEIVE MATERNITY CARE THAT IS SAFE, EMPOWERING AND ACCESSIBLE.
