TO ORGANIZE AND OVERSEE THE RUNNING OF THE TENTH WORLD CONGRESS OF VETERINARY DERMATOLOGY, A CONFERENCE WITH INTERNATIONAL ATTENDANCE THAT IS ONLY HELD ONCE EVERY 4 YEARS. THE CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD IN BOSTON, JULY 25-29, 2024, AND PROVIDE CONTINUING EDUCATION IN VETERINARY DERMATOLOGY TO VETERINARIANS FROM AROUND THE WORLD.

THE TENTH WORLD CONGRESS OF VETERINARY DERMATOLOGY HAS PLANNED OVER 150 HOURS OF IN-PERSON LECTURES AS PART OF THE SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM FOR THE CONGRESS TO BE HELD IN BOSTON JULY 26-29TH, 2024. A CALL FOR RESEARCH ABSTRACTS WENT OUT THIS YEAR AND OVER 171 ABSTRACTS FROM VETERINARIANS AROUND THE WORLD WERE RECEIVED AND REVIEWED BY THE SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM COMMITTEE AND WILL BE PRESENTED AT WCVD10 IN BOSTON. WORKSHOPS AND WET LABS HAVE BEEN PLANNED AS WELL AS NUMEROUS NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR VETERINARIANS AROUND THE WORLD TO EXCHANGE AND SHARE INFORMATION IN VETERINARY DERMATOLOGY. CONTRACTS WITH PUBLISHERS WERE FINALIZED SO THAT RESEARCH PRESENTED AT WCVD10 CAN BE MORE WIDELY DISSEMINATED. A COMPANION VIRTUAL CONGRESS HAS BEEN PLANNED AND INVITED SPEAKERS HAVE AGREED TO PRERECORD AND ACCESS TO THAT VIRTUAL CONGRESS WILL INCREASE THE ABILITY TO SHARE THE INFORMATION FROM WCVD10 IN BOSTON MORE GLOBALLY. THE CONGRESS HAS SOUGHT CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP TO OFFSET THE COSTS OF THE MEETING AND HAS GENERATED INCOME FROM THOSE EFFORTS THIS YEAR WHICH WILL BE USED FOR FUTURE OPERATIONAL COSTS.
