THE NEW YORK STATE ASSOCIATION OF INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS PROMOTES THE INDEPENDENCE, WELL-BEING AND PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING OF, AND RESPECT FOR, NEW YORK INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS AND SERVES AS AN ACCREDITING BODY CHARTERED BY THE NEW YORK STATE BOARD OF REGENTS.

EVALUATION AND ACCREDITATION OF APPROXIMATELY 200 MEMBER SCHOOLS, AS WELL AS IN-SERVICE TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. DURING FISCAL YEAR ENDED 6/30/2022, NYSAIS CONDUCTED APPROXIMATELY 70 WORKSHOPS AND CONFERENCES, WHERE APPROXIMATELY 5,000 MEMBER PERSONNEL ATTENDED.
