LOVEGOOD PERFORMING ARTS COMPANY SEEKS TO NURTURE THE GOD-GIVEN POTENTIAL IN YOUNG PERFORMERS BY FOSTERING AN ENVIRONMENT OF BELONGING, MASTERY, INSPIRATION, AND SELF-ADVOCACY. WE AT LOVEGOOD PERFORMING ARTS COMPANY, SEEK TO TELL COMPELLING STORIES THROUGH THE ARTS THAT CHALLENGE OUR AUDIENCES TO THINK AND ENGAGE; FURTHERING OUR ABILITY TO CAPTIVATE THE WONDER THERE IS IN OUR WORLD. WE ASPIRE TO BUILD A COMMUNITY WHERE EVERY INDIVIDUAL WHO ENCOUNTERS OUR COMPANY SECURES NOT JUST THE CONFIDENCE OF HAVING THE PROFESSIONAL SKILLS FOR THE PERFORMANCE WORLD, BUT ALSO EMBRACES THE INNATE KNOWLEDGE THAT THEY HAVE TRUE VALUE IN THEIR CHARACTER AND WORTH. IN 2022 LOVEGOOD HELD 16 PERFORMING ARTS EDUCATION CLASSES WITH 251 CLASS ENROLLMENTS. DURING THE SUMMER WE HELD 7 PERFORMING ARTS CAMPS AND WORKSHOPS WITH 122 ENROLLMENTS. WE ALSO HELD TWO MAIN STAGE PRODUCTIONS WITH 53 ACTORS AND 15 CREW. WE PERFORMED FOR 2,099 PATRONS. STUDENTS ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASSES, CAMPS, AND PERFORMANCES REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY.
