THE RICARDO MONTALBAN FOUNDATION (THE MONTALBAN), FURTHER ADVANCED ITS VISION OF GREATER EQUALITY AND OPPORTUNITY FOR HISPANICS. THIS ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED A PHYSICAL LOCATION THAT WOULD SERVE AS A HEADQUARTERS OF MENTORSHIP AND EDUCATION FOR YOUNG ARTIST IN MUSIC, DANCE, ACTING AND STAGE AND FILM PRODUCTION. THE MONTALBAN CONTINUES TO HOST DIVERSE AND ENGAGING PRODUCTIONS, MANY WITH LATINX THEMES OR FEATURING ARTISTS FROM UNDERREPRESENTED COMMUNITIES. THE MONTALBAN PROGRAMS WERE ADVERSELY IMPACTED BY COVID RELATED CLOSURES. WITH THE CA RELIEF GRANTS, THE MONTALBAN HAS BEEN REBUILDING ITS PROGRAMMING SCHEDULE NOSTOROS/WB PRESENTS (2022) FATHER OF THE BRIDE PREMIERE, THE MONTALBAN WAS HOST TO AN INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS CONFERENCE CALLED MOTION PLUS DESIGN FOR WORKING PROFESSIONALS IN THE TITLING BUSINESS FOR MOTION PICTURES. A TEACHER FROM TIAJUANA, MX BROUGHT 50 OF HER STUDENTS UP TO ATTEND THE EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE. WE ARE UTILIZING OUR ROOFTOP AGAIN ON A NIGHTLY BASIS. UPCOMING EVENTS INCLUDE, NOSOTROS YA TU SABES, HOLA MEXICO FILM FESTIVAL, EL GIGANTE DELA COMEDIA, HOLLYWOOD CHAMBER ORCHESTRA, MUSIC AND COMEDY WITH WESTBETH ENTERTAINMENT.
