POLICY/ADVOCACY: THE ORGANIZATION TRAINS AND MOBILIZES LATINA AND LATINO LEADERS TO INFORM PUBLIC POLICY AND CHANGE INEQUITABLE SYSTEMS. THE FOCUS IS ON SOCIAL JUSTICE POLICY ISSUES, INCLUDING IMMIGRATION, HEALTHCARE, PUBLIC EDUCATION, ECONOMIC MOBILITY, AND MORE. IN 2021, THE ORGANIZATION RECORDED 1,606 LEADERS TAKING PART IN ADVOCACY AND POLICY WORK.
LEADERSHIP: THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTS THE GROWTH AND EDUCATION OF LATINA AND LATINO LEADERS THROUGH CULTURALLY AND LINGUISTICALLY EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS. THESE PROGRAMS PLACE LEADERS IN OPPORTUNITIES WHERE THEY CAN LEAD IN THEIR OWN COMMUNITIES TO CREATE SYSTEMATIC CHANGE.
