THE ROLL OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO BUILD STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS WITH ORGANIZATIONS, GOVERNMENTAL SERVIECS AND FAITH BASED GROUPS TO INCREASE THE EFFECTS OF ADDRESSING COMMUNITY NEEDS SUCH AS HOMELESSNESS, EDUCATION AND AT RISK YOUTH ACROSS THE CITY. THE ONE CONGREGATION, ONE FAMILY INITIATIVE HAS HELPED OVER 1,000 FAMILIES IN NEED IN COLORADO. IN WHIZ KIDS TUTORING, OVER 10,000 TUTORS HAVE BEEN RECRUITED AND TRAINED TO MENTOR 10,000 CHILDREN AND IS RUNNING AT OVER 44 SITES IN THE DENVER METRO AREA. THE ANNUAL COLORADO PRAYER LUCHEON BRINGS LEADERS TOGETHER TO DEEPEN FAITH, FRIENDSHIPS AND HELP LAUNCH OTHER MODELS OF HOPE. OTHER COMMUNITY PARTNERS INVOLVE ANNUAL EVENTS WITH THE DENVER NUGGETS AND NATIONAL WESTERN COMPLEX TO PROVIDE SPECIAL EVENTS FOR INNER CITY AT RISK YOUTH.
