THE PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS EDUCATING NEW MEXICANS ON ACCESSIBLE, AFFORDABLE, QUALITY HEALTH CARE SYSTEMS, COLLABORATING WITH OTHER GROUPS TO ADVOCATE FOR A UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE SYSTEM FOR ALL. HEALTH ACTION NM MADE PRESENTATIONS TO THE LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE FOR A COST STUDY OF HEALTHCARE MODELS. IT INCREASED MEMBERSHIP TO THE ORGANIZATION AND BEGAN A STATEWIDE CAMPAIGN CALLED HEALTHCARE FOR ALL.
