Part 3
ORGAN MOUNTAIN ROYAL KNIGHT REGIMENT CONSISTS OF MARCHING BAND, CONCERT BAND, MULTIPLE JAZZ BANDS AND COLORGUARD. THE MARCHING BAND PARTICPATED IN 4 COMPETITIONS, 2 EXHIBITIONS AND PERFORMED AT NUMEROUS FOOTBALL GAMES IN THE 2022 MARCHING SEASON. THE BAND ALSO PARTICPATED IN THE CITY VETERANS DAY PARADE. SUMMER BAND CAMPS ARE HELD AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR TO RECRUIT NEW STUDENTS AND TO PREPARE FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON. CONCERT AND JAZZ BANDS ATTEND VARIOUS CAMPS AND TRAINING THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. THEY ALSO PERFORM IN COMMUNITY EVENTS. STUDENTS HAVE OPPORTUNITIES TO AUDITION FOR AND PARTICIPATE IN ALL-STATE AND HONOR CONCERT AND JAZZ BANDS. AN ANNUAL JAZZ FEST IS HOSTED EACH YEAR BY RKR. EXPERTS AND CLINICIANS IN JAZZ MUSIC ARE INVITED IN TO HOLD CLINICS AND TRAINING WITH MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL BANDS THROUGHOUT THE REGION. PARTICIPANTS FROM NUMEROUS SCHOOL ATTEND TO HELP IMPROVE THEIR SKILLS AND LEARN FROM EXPERTS. A PERFORMANCE IS HELD AT THE END OF THE JAZZFEST FOR THE COMMUNITY. IN ADDITION, THE COLORGUARD TRAINS ALL YEAR AND ATTENDS COMPETITIONS IN THE SPRING.
