THE GCCCC HAD TWO COMMUNITY EVENT THIS YEAR OUR ANNUAL BANQUET IN MARCH AND 4TH OF JULY PARADE AND PARK VENDORS. THE CHAMBER RECEIVED FUNDING AND BEGAN PREPARING FOR THE FIRST ANNUAL SXS OUTDOOR ADVENTURE RALLY THAT WAS HELD IN SEPTEMBER 2022. THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CONTINUES TO PROMOTE BUSINESSES THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA SHOPLOCALCIBOLA TO ENCOURAGE VISITS TO OUR SMALL LOCAL BUSINESSES. OUR MEMBERSHIP HAS BEEN INCREASING FOR THE FIRST TIME IN TWO YEARS. WE CONTINUE TO WORK WITH THE CITY OF GRANTS, CIBOLA COUNTY AND OTHER NON- PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS ON ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION PLANS FOR THE UPCOMING YEAR. WE WORKED WITH CONSULTANTS TO PREPARE A MASTER PLAN MOVING TOWARDS PROMOTING OUR AREA AS AN OUTDOOR DESTINATION IN THE TOURIST INDUSTRY. WE ARE ACTIVE IN SEVERAL COMMITTEES AND INVOLVED IN ECONOMIC GROWTH AND TOURISM.
