THE COMMUNITY CUP CLASSIC FOUNDATION WAS CREATED TO IMPROVE ADULT ENGAGEMENT IN ALL FACETS OF YOUTH DEVELOPMENT WHERE YOUTH ARE SHOWN APPRECIATION BY THOSE WITHIN THEIR COMMUNITY

THROUGHOUT THE CALENDAR YEAR, COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT CUYAHOGA COUNTY (OHIO), EARN POINTS FOR PARTICIPATION IN A VARIETY OF COMMUNITY CUP CLASSICTM FAMILY CENTERED ACTIVITIES, PROGRAMS, EVENTS, OPPORTUNITIES AND SPORTS. THE ANNUAL EVENT CALENDAR CULMINATES IN JUNE OF 2020 WITH THE COMMUNITY CUP CLASSICTM FINALS, A WEEK CELEBRATION FILLED WITH SIGNATURE EVENTS. THROUGH DIRECT PARTNERSHIPS COMMUNITY RESIDENTS WILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH LEADERS AND PROFESSIONALS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR WHO WILL PROVIDE MENTORSHIP IN LEADERSHIP, OPPORTUNITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN CIVIC ENGAGEMENT, CAREER TRAINING, ACADEMICS, PEER SUPPORT AND HEALTH/WELLNESS AND FITNESS ACTIVITIES.


THE COMMUNITY CUP CLASSIC FOUNDATION (CCCF), IN PARTNERSHIP WITH SEVERAL CORE PARTNERS, PLANS TO HOST MULTIPLE FAMILY ENGAGEMENT EVENTS THROUGHOUT SELECT COMMUNITIES OVER THE NEXT 18 MONTHS ALIGNED WITH ITS MISSION OF IMPROVING ADULT ENGAGEMENT IN ALL FACETS OF A YOUNG PERSON'S DEVELOPMENT. THE OBJECTIVES OF THIS PROPOSAL ARE TO REQUEST RESOURCES ALLOWING CCCF TO BRAID WITHIN THESE EVENTS UNIQUE STRATEGIES TO INCREASE / RAISE VACCINATION AWARENESS, PROVIDE RESOURCES AND EDUCATION RELATED TO COVID-19 AND INFLUENZA VACCINATION DESIGNED TO ENGAGE AFRICAN AMERICAN RESIDENTS AND THE DIVERSE MIX OF RACIAL AND ETHNIC ADULT POPULATIONS CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING DISPARITIES.
