THE ORGANIZATION'S EXEMPT PURPOSE IS MENTORING & COMMUNITY OUTREACH. BY OFFERING PROGRAMS SUCH AS CURE VIOLENCE & ANTI-GUN VIOLENCE INITIATIVE GEARED TOWARDS REDUCING GUN VIOLENCE AND SENSELESS KILLINGS. AFTER-SCHOOL HOMEWORK HELP AND TUTORING & READY 4 WORK & EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE.

OUR CURE VIOLENCE DEPARTMENT (CMS) HAS BEEN RENEWED AND CONTINUES TO REPRESENT OUR LARGEST SOURCE OF CITY GRANTS. WE HAVE CONSISTENTLY REDUCED GUN RELATED VIOLENCE IN OUR CATCHMENT AREAS. OUR WORK HAS INCREASED IN KINGS COUNTY HOSPITAL AND THE CROSSROADS JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER.
WE PROVIDE AFTER-SCHOOL SERVICES FOR 4 SITES. WE SERVICE OVER 80 YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AND PROVIDE A 7 WEEK CULTURAL SUMMER PROGRAM YEARLY. THE YOUNG PEOPLE WE SERVICE IN OUR AFTER-SCHOOL HAS HAD A 99% GRADUATION RATE.
OUR JOB DEVELOPMENT CENTER (JDC) HAS BEEN INTEGRAL IN TRAINING OVER 300 INDIVIDUALS IN BROOKLYN AND NYC AT LARGE IN OSHA 30 CERTIFICATION. THE JDC HAS TRAINED DOZENS OF INDIVIDUALS IN FLAGGER, CPR AND SCAFFOLDING AS WELL AS MAKING HUNDREDS OF JOB REFERRALS.
