START THE WAVE IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION FOCUSED ON BUILDING AN INCLUSIVE ONLINE COMMUNITY THAT EMPOWERS INDIVIDUALS TO FIND THEIR UNIQUE PATH TO CREATE POSITIVE CHANGE. WE DO THAT BY FUNDING ACTION, AMPLIFYING CHANGE, AND SUPPORTING WAVEMAKERS WORLDWIDE. AT START THE WAVE, WE BELIEVE IN A GLOBAL MOVEMENT THAT FOCUSES ON FINDING POSITIVE SOLUTIONS TO OUR WORLD'S PROBLEMS. OUR MAIN AREAS OF FOCUS ARE LOVE & KINDNESS, CREATIVITY & HEALING, EQUALITY & ANTI-OPPRESSION, OUR ENVIRONMENT, UNITY & ONENESS, CONSCIOUS CONSUMING, AND PRIDE. 2023 WAS START THE WAVE'S FOURTH FULL YEAR OF OPERATIONS WITH ITS PRIMARY IMPACT RESULTING FROM GRANTS MADE TO SELECT INDIVIDUALS/GROUPS/ORGANIZATIONS THAT SHARE A COMMON VISION AND GOALS ("PROJECTS").
