GUIDE EACH CHILD TO DESIGN A LIFE OF SELF-ESTEEM, EMPATHY AND CREATIVE EXPRESSION EMBOLDENING THEM TO REACH ACROSS CULTURES, FIND COMMON VALUES IN DIFFERENCES TO REALIZE A BRIGHTER FUTURE.THROUGH ARMY HEADQUARTERS WE WORKED WITH ARMY GARRISON YOUTH CENTERS - USAG ANSBACH, USAG BENELUZ/BRUSSELS, USAG NETZABERG & ROSE BARRACKS, USAG BARVARIA GERMISCH, AND USAG ITALY VICENZ. WE TRAINED STAFF MEMBERS AND THEY TAUGHT THE MANADOOB LEARNING SYSTEM TO CHILDREN RANGING IN AGES FROM 5 - 12.WE ALSO TRAINED AND WORKED WITH FOUR BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB SITES HELPING MILITARY CHILDREN IN TWO SITES, MIGRANT FARM WORKER'S CHILDREN AND UNDERPRIVLEDGED CHILDREN SERVED BY THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS.AN INTRODUCTION WAS MADE THROUGH A MUTUAL FRIEND TO THE FOUNDER OF URYADIS VILLAGE, JENNIFER FILL-CROOKS, TO SEE IF MANADOOB WOULD BE A FIT IN THE ORPHANAGE. THE VILLAGE MISSION IS TO BE SELF-SUSTAINABLE AND CREATE A CULTURE OF SUPPORT AND LOVE FOR EVERY CHILD, BOTH WITHIN THE VILLAGE AND BEYOND. A PILOT PROGRAM WITH MANADOOB WILL TAKE PLACE IN EARLY 2023. A PORTION OF THE GOLDSCHMIDT GRANT WILL FUND THE PILOT. WE ARE HOPEFUL THAT WE CAN DO JOINT FUNDRAISING TO SUPPORT THE PROGRAM LONG TERM.WE CONTINUE DISCUSSIONS WITH SEVERAL OTHER NONPROFITS BOTH DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL TO EXPLORE POTENTIAL PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES TO SUPPORT THEIR EFFORTS IN HELPING THE CHILDREN THEY REACH.
