PASCO CARES (BENEVOLENCE FUND): SUPPLIED FRONT LINE OFFICERS WITH ACCESS TO PRE-LOADED GIFT CARDS TO BE USED FOR BUS TICKETS, FUEL, FOOD PURCHASES FOR PEOPLE IN PASCO EXPERIENCING A DESPERATE NEED. IN ADDITION, CREATED AN ACCOUNT AT THE RED LION HOTEL FOR OFFICERS TO PLACE PEOPLE IN CRITICAL INSTANCES A SAFE PLACE TO STAY OVERNIGHT. EXAMPLES INCLUDE PERSONS WHO EXPERIENCE A DOMESTIC VIOLENCE INCIDENT OR ARE LEFT STRANDED IN TOWN.


FAMILY FIELD DAY (COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT): OFFICER AND YOUTH/COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT EVENTS. SUPPLIED ALL THE ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES AND SPORTS EQUIPMENT TO MAKE THE EVENT POSSIBLE. FACE PAINTING, KNOCKER BALL, RESOURCE BOOTHS, CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT, ELITE AMITIONS TRAINING, KICKBALL, SOCCER, AND BASKETBALL ACTIVITIES TO NAME ONLY A FEW. OFFICERS WERE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE WITH THE COMMUNITY, PLAYING GAMES ALONGSIDE THEM WHICH HELPS FORM POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN OFFICERS AND THE COMMUNITY AS WELL AS PROVIDED SHIRTS AND LUNCH TO OVER 50 VOLUNTEERS.


NEW HIRE OFFICER & FAMILY WELLNESS ORIENTATION: PPF PROVIDE ESSENTIAL RESOURCES AND EDUCATION MATERIALS TO SUPPORT THE WELL-BEING OF LAW ENFORCEMENT FAMILIES THROUGH THE PURCHASE OF READING MATERIALS, INCLUDING DEVOTIONALS, BOOKS FOR CHILDREN AND THIN BLUE LINE ITEMS, FAMILIES CAN FOSTER A SENSE OF COMMUNITY AND UNDERSTANDING. THIS INITIATIVE EMPHASIZES THE IMPORTANCE OF MENTAL HEALTH AND RESILIENCE, EQUIPPING FAMILIES WITH VALUABLE TOOLS AND RESOURCES TO SUPPORT THEIR WELLBEING AND SUPPORT THEIR LAW ENFORCEMENT FAMILY MEMBER.
