MUSEUM HUE IS DEDICATED TO UPLIFTING THE VOICES OF PEOPLE OF COLOR IN THE ARTS AND CULTURE FIELD BY OFFERING TOOLS AND RESOURCES IN A SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT. WE CELEBRATE CULTURAL DIVERSITY IN THE ARTS ECOSYSTEM AND CREATE PATHWAYS FOR THOSE WHO NEED IT MOST IN THE SECTOR. MUSEUM HUE WORKS TO IMPROVE THE RACIAL INEQUITY IN THE FIELD AND PROMOTE PEOPLE OF COLORS CULTURAL CONTRIBUTIONS, ARTISTIC PRACTICES, AND HISTORICAL NARRATIVES.

HUEARTS NYC-AN ONLINE PLATFORM HIGHLIGHTING NEW YORK CITY'S BIPOC -FOUNDED AND -LED ARTS ENTITIES WITHIN NEW YORK CITY ALONG WITH RECOMMENDATIONS AND RESOURCES THAT FURTHER CONVERSATIONS WITHIN THE FIELD, PHILANTHROPY, AND GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS.
HUEARTS NYS-AN ONLINE PLATFORM HIGHLIGHTING NEW YORK STATE'S BIPOC -FOUNDED AND -LED ARTS ENTITIES. THE FINAL PRODUCT WILL BE A HIGHLY GRAPHIC REPORT WITH RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CHANGE, AS WELL AS AN INTERACTIVE WEB-BASED MAP THAT WILL PROVIDE CITY AGENCIES, POLICY MAKERS, PHILANTHROPISTS, PEER ORGANIZATIONS, ARTS AND CULTURE ENTHUSIASTS, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC WITH FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT NEW YORK STATE'S RICH PEOPLE OF COLOR ARTS AND CULTURE SECTOR, AND HOW BEST TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT THEM.
GUIDED TOURS, MEMBERSHIP AND GENERAL PROGRAMMING - GUIDED TOURS ARE GUIDED EXPERIENCES AND BEHIND-THE-SCENES VIEWS OF CULTURAL INSTITUTIONS FOR PEOPLE OF COLOR. PARTICIPANTS ARE GIVEN ON-SITE EXPOSURE TO CULTURAL INSTITUTIONS, LEARN APPROACHES TO BEST PRACTICES, AND CONNECT WITH ARTS AND CULTURE LEADERS. THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES: 1.INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP: OUR INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERS INCLUDE MUSEUMS, HISTORICAL SITES, SCIENCE CENTERS, AND OTHER CULTURAL ENTITIES. THEY USE MUSEUM HUE AS AN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE AND TO REACH A WIDER AUDIENCE. INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERS HAVE ACCESS TO PROMOTE OPPORTUNITIES ON MUSEUM HUE'S JOB BOARD, ATTEND PROGRAMS, AND RECEIVE MUSEUM HUE- NEWSLETTERS. 2.INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP: OUR INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS INCLUDE MUSEUM PROFESSIONALS, STUDENTS, VOLUNTEERS, AND UNEMPLOYED INDIVIDUALS SEEKING OPPORTUNITIES AND NETWORKS IN MUSEUMS AND OTHER CULTURAL SPACES.
