PRESENTED TWO PERFORMANCES OF THE FULLY-STAGED OPERA ATTILA BY GIUSEPPE VERDI. THE PRODUCTION PERFORMED AT EVANSTON'S CAHN AUDITORIUM FEATURED A CAST OF PROFESSIONAL SINGERS FROM AROUND THE WORLD ACCOMPANIED BY A PROFESSIONAL ORCHESTRA.


PRESENTED TWO PERFORMANCES OF THE FULLY-STAGED OPERA MURDER IN THE CATHEDRAL BY ILDEBRANDO PIZZETTI. THE PRODUCTION PERFORMED AT THE CHICAGO TEMPLE FEATURED A CAST OF PROFESSIONAL SINGERS FROM AROUND THE WORLD ACCOMPANIED BY A PROFESSIONAL ORCHESTRA.


FESTIVAL ARTISTS PRESENTED AN ITALIAN SOIREE FEATURING MUSIC INSPIRED BY OUR SEASON THEME OF POWER GLORY AND BETRAYAL. FAMOUS ARIAS DUETS AND TRIOS ALTERNATED WITH INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC INSPIRED BY SOME OF THE GREATEST ITALIAN OPERAS OF ALL TIMES AND PERFORMED ON PIANO FLUTE AND ACCORDION BY THREE GREAT VIRTUOSI OF THESE INSTRUMENTS.
