DURING THE 2022-23 SEASON, MADISON OPERA PRODUCED TWO PERFORMANCES OF SALOME, TWO PERFORMANCES OF A DOUBLEBILL OF TROUBLE IN TAHITI AND THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS, AND TWO PERFORMANCES OF THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO. THE ANNUAL FREE "OPERA IN THE PARK" PERFORMANCE HAD TO BE CANCELLED IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THE PERFORMANCE DUE TO A SURPRISE STORM.MADISON OPERA HELD VARIOUS EDUCATION AND ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMS DURING THE YEAR, INCLUDING COMMUNITY PREVIEWS, OPERA UP CLOSE PRESENTATIONS, DIGITAL PRESENTATIONS, A STUDENT MATINEE, AND A HIGH SCHOOL APPRENTICE PROGRAM.
