THE MISSION OF INDIANAPOLIS OPERA IS TO EDUCATE, INSPIRE, AND ENTERTAIN THROUGH THE CREATION AND PRESENTATION OF MUSICAL STORYTELLING FOR THE HOOSIER COMMUNITY. INDIANAPOLIS OPERA (IO) BRINGS THE PASSION, EXCITEMENT, AND ART OF OPERA AND VOCAL MUSIC TO INDIANA DURING THE 2021-2022 SEASON REACHING AN AUDIENCE OF 31,419.
INDIANAPOLIS OPERA'S RESIDENT ARTISTS PERFORMED ACROSS THE STATE OF INDIANA WITH 8,251 VIEWERS DURING 2021-2022.
