THIS PROGRAM HAS RESULTED IN SUBSTANTIAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRESS ACHIEVED TOWARD THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE MECHANISMS OF ALLERGEN- INDUCED TYPE 2 IMMUNITY; TO INVESTIGATE THE IMMUNOLOGICAL MECHANISMS THAT ARE INVOLVED IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF TH2-TYPE AIRWAY INFLAMMATION AND ALLERGEN-SPECIFIC IGE ANTIBODIES IN RESPONSE TO EXPOSURE TO AIRBORNE ALLERGENS.
