COMMONSHARE IS A CHARITABLE PHARMACY PROVIDING ACCESS TO PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS TO INDIVIDUALS THAT RESIDE IN THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA. THE MISSION'S PRIMARY FOCUS IS TO ASSIST UNINSURED OR UNDERINSURED INDIVIDUALS, FREE CLINICS, FEDERAL QUALIFIED HEALTHCARE CENTERS, AND HOSPITALS.

(1) MEDICATION ACCESS (MA): THROUGH OUR MA PROGRAM, WE PROCURE MEDICATIONS FROM DRUG WHOLESALERS OR DONATED MEDICATION FROM NON-PROFIT PARTNERS. WE DISPENSE THESE MEDICATIONS TO INDIVIDUALS LIVING IN THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA WITH A VALID PRESCRIPTION FROM REFERRAL SOURCE CLINICS, HOSPITALS, AND COMMUNITY-BASED PHYSICIANS EITHER FREE OR AT OR BELOW COST. (2) PUBLIC HEALTH VACCINATIONS: IN RESPONSE TO THE PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY (PHE) DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC COMMONSHARE RESPONDED WITH VACCINATION CLINICS IN THE COMMUNITY AND AT PARTNER CLINICS. WE ARE CONTINUING TO ASSIST WITH PUBLIC HEALTH EFFORTS OFFERING WALK-IN VACCINATIONS AT THE PHARMACY.
