SANBORN CHRISTIAN SCHOOL SOCIETY FOUNDATION IS A SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION OF THE SOCIETY FOR CHRISTIAN INSTRUCTION OF SANBORN, IOWA (DOING BUSINESS AS SANBORN CHRISTIAN SCHOOL), A SECTION 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION THAT HAS BEEN RECOGNIZED BY THE IRS AS A SCHOOL DESCRIBED IN SECTION 170(B)(1)(A)(II). THE FOUNDATION IS OPERATED, SUPERVISED AND CONTROLLED BY THE SCHOOL, WHICH IS LOCATED IN SANBORN, IOWA. THE FOUNDATION CONDUCTS ITS ACTIVITIES SOLELY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE SCHOOL, SPECIFICALLY BY RAISING FUNDS AND THEN DISTRIBUTING THOSE FUNDS DIRECTLY TO THE SCHOOL'S GENERAL FUND. THE FOUNDATION'S PURPOSES MATCH THOSE OF THE SCHOOL, WHICH ARE TO OFFER QUALITY CHRISTIAN EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN WHOSE PARENTS BELIEVE THAT GOD IS THE LORD OF THE UNIVERSE AND OUR LIVES. THE SCHOOL OFFERS EDUCATION FROM A CHRISTIAN PERSPECTIVE BY CHRISTIAN TEACHERS TO STUDENTS IN PRESCHOOL THROUGH EIGHTH GRADE AND USES THE FUNDS DISTRIBUTED BY THE FOUNDATION TO BOLSTER ITS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS. THE SCHOOL ALSO USES THE FUNDS TO REDUCE TUITION FOR ALL STUDENTS.
