THE ORGANIZATION'S PURPOSE IS TO SUPPORT EXISTING PHILADELPHIA-AREA HORIZONS SITES AS AN AFFILIATE OF HORIZONS NATIONAL STUDENT ENRICHMENT PROGRAM, INC. (HORIZONS NATIONAL). ALSO, THE ORGANIZATION IDENTIFIES SITES THAT ARE DEEMED A MATCH FOR THE PROGRAM AND PARTNERS WITH THOSE SITES TO IMPLEMENT AND CONDUCT THE PROGRAM. GRANTS ARE DISTRIBUTED BY THE ORGANIZATION TO AFFILIATE SITES TO AID IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND COORDINATION OF THE PROGRAM.
