THE PROGRAMS PROVIDE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR APPROXIMATELY 70 STUDENTS ON A DAILY BASIS. AFTER SCHOOL AND SUMMER DAY CAMP PROGRAMS PROVIDE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT, SUPPORT AND TRAINING IN THE AREAS OF HOMEWORK, COMPREHENSION, READING, MUSIC, LIFE SKILLS, AND WHOLESOME RECREATION. THESE PROGRAMS BUILD LONG TERM RELATIONSHIPS WITHIN THE SUN VALLEY COMMUNITY, WHICH IS THE POOREST IN DENVER, IN ORDER TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF POVERTY AND PROMOTE LASTING CHANGE FOR THE YOUTH OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD.
