SUPPORT THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF EDUCATION AND WELFARE FOR THE ENTIRE STUDENT BODY OF COTTONWOOD CREEK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL THROUGH THE COOPERATIVE EFFORTS OF THE FACULTY AND STAFF, THE CHERRY CREEK DISTRICT COMMUNITY AND THE PARENTS.

TEACHERS ASSISTANTS: PROVIDE TEACHER ASSISTANTS TO SCHOOL. THESE ASSISTANTS SUPPORT TEACHING ACTIVITIES, TEACHERS, AND PROVIDE LUNCHROOM AND RECESS SUPERVISION THEREBY BENEFITTING ALL 600+ STUDENTS AND THE SCHOOL FACULTY.
SCHOOL WIDE ENRICHMENT: THE SCHOOL WIDE ENRICHMENT PROGRAM AT COTTONWOOD CREEK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL BRINGS EXTRACURRICULAR AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS TO THE CLASSROOM AND ENTIRE SCHOOL. THESE ACTIVITIES ARE IMPORTANT TO THE STUDENTS ACADEMIC AND SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT AS WELL AS EPERIENTIAL GROUNDING OF CONCEPTS LEARNED IN THE CLASSROOM. A BUDGET FOR THIS COMMITTEE IS SET ANNUALLY BY THE PTO BOARD, APPROVED BY THE GENERAL PTO, AND IS MANAGED TO ENSURE EQUITABLE DISTRIBUTION OF ENRICHMENT FUNDING.
