THE MISSION OF THE COLORADO OFF-HIGHWAY VEHICLE COALITION (COHVCO) IS TO REPRESENT, ASSIST, EDUCATE, AND EMPOWER OHV RECREATIONISTS IN THE PROTECTION AND PROMOTION OF OFF-HIGHWAY MOTORIZED RECREATION THROUGHOUT COLORADO.

GENERAL OPERATIONS OF THE ORGANIZATION INCLUDING MONITORING ACTIVITY ON LEGISLATION EFFECTING PUBLIC LANDS AND ENGAGING IN NEGOTIATIONS WITH LAWMAKERS OR TAKING LEGAL ACTION TO PROTECT THE RIGHTS OF MOTORIZED USERS OF PUBLIC LANDS. HOST WORKSHOP TO TRAIN LAND MANAGERS AND USERS ON THE ISSUES INVOLVED IN PUBLIC LAND ACCESS PRIVILEGES FOR OHV USERS. INITIATE AN ECONOMIC IMPACT STUDY WITHIN THE STATE OF COLORADO TO BETTER UNDERSTAND THE ECONOMIC IMPACTS OF OHV RECREATIONALISTS IN THE AREAS WHERE OPPORTUNITIES EXIST TO OPERATE OFF HIGHWAY VEHICLES ON PUBLIC LANDS.
