PROGRAM PUT ON HOLD DUE TO COVID 19 DURING 2020, EXPENSES OF HORSES WERE STILL REQUIRED DURING 2022 - HANDICAPPED AND SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDRENS THERAPEUTIC HORSE RIDING PROGRAM, CALLED PALOMINO PALS-THE PROGRAM IS INTENDED TO AID IN THE PHYSICAL STABILITY OF THE CHILD AND THE EMOTIONAL NURTURING CREATED BY THE EXPOSURE TO A NEW ACTIVITY. RIDING A HORSE HELPS MUSCULAR DEVELOPMENT AND STABILITY. THE PROGRAM IS CONDUCTED AT A LOCAL STABLE BY THE PROGRAMS DIRECTOR, ORGANIZATIONS MEMBERS AND PUBLIC VOLUNTEERS. THE CHILDREN SEEN IN THE PROGRAM HAVE MANY DIFFERENT DISABILITIES AND SPECIAL NEEDS, SOME OF WHICH ARE -- BLINDNESS, DOWNS SYNDROME, CEREBRAL PALSY, CANCER, AUTISM, ETC. SINCE 2012 WE HAVE SERVED FROM 55 TO A LITTLE OVER 60 SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN HELPED THROUGH THE PROGRAM.
