UPLAND ADVISORS SEEKS TO FOSTER AND SUPPORT SUSTAINABLE PEACEBUILDING INITIATIVES IN CONFLICT-AFFECTED COUNTRIES THROUGH ACADEMIC RESEARCH, STAKEHOLDER EDUCATION AND TRAINING, AND NON-PARTISAN ADVOCACY AND POLICYMAKING.

TRAINING LOCAL LEADERS ON NEGOTIATIONS AND PRINCIPLES TO A CONSTITUTIONAL DEMOCRACY - THIS PROGRAM PROVIDED TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND CAPACITY BUILDING SUPPORT THROUGH HIGHLY TRUSTED EDUCATION AND ADVICE ON SENSITIVE AND CHALLENGING MATTERS TO KEY DECISION-MAKERS ACROSS DIVERSE ORGANIZATIONS AND COMMUNITIES. MORE THAN A DOZEN ADVISORS WERE RESOURCED TO ENGAGE WITH OVER 50 STAKEHOLDER ORGANIZATIONS. THE PROGRAMS IS DESIGNED TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE SUSTAINABLE, PEACEFUL, AND INCLUSIVE RESOLUTION OF BURMA/MYANMAR'S ONGOING PRO-FEDERAL DEMOCRACY REVOLUTION AND 75-YEARS-LONG CIVIL WARS.


EDUCATION CAMPAIGN TO PROMOTE HUMAN RIGHTS - THIS PROGRAM PROVIDED TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND RELATED RESEARCH AND WRITING IN SUPPORT OF HUMAN RIGHTS INITIATIVES. IT SUCCESSFULLY SUPPORTED NATIONAL STAKEHOLDERS IN PROMOTING AND ADVANCING HUMAN RIGHTS ACCOUNTABILITY MEASURES AND ENGAGING WITH RELEVANT INTERNATIONAL ACTORS.
