THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO IMPROVE HEALTH CARE DELIVERY TO UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS GLOBALLY THROUGH RESEARCH, TRAINING, CLINICAL CARE AND STRENGHTENING THE HEALTH SYSTEM.

COLLABORATE WITH THE SOCIETY OF CRITICAL CARE MEDICINE (SCCM) TO IMPROVE HEALTHCARE DELIVERY THROUGH THE AIRS (AFRICA INFRASTRUCTURE RELIEF AND SUPPORT) PROJECT. ENSURE THE PROVISION OF STABLE, SUSTAINABLE MEDICAL OXYGEN TO PATIENTS ACROSS THE AFRICAN COUNTRIES OF SIERRA LEONE, LIBERIA AND THE GAMBIA BY DEVELOPING & INSTALLING OXYGEN-GENERATING PLANTS, UPKEEPING SOLAR PANELS FOR CONTINUOUS POWER SUPPLY, FITTING OXYGEN PIPING WITHIN FACILITY WALLS, AND PROVIDING COMPREHENSIVE BIOMEDICAL TRAINING TO LOCAL PERSONEL SO THEY MAY PROPERLY OPERATE THE SYSTEMS TO ENSURE SUSTAINABLE BENEFITS INTO THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE. THE ULTIMATE OBJECTIVE IS TO EXPAND THIS INITIATIVE TO ENCOMPASS ADDITIONAL AFRICAN COUNTRIES AS ADDITIONAL GRANT FUNDING BECOMES AVAILABLE.


COMBINE EFFORTS WITH KORLE-BU NEUROSCIENCE FOUNDATION (KBNF) IN ITS INITIATIVE TO COLLABORATE WITH LOCAL, NATIONAL, AND INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN SELF-SUSTAINING, HIGH-QUALITY CLINICAL NEUROSCIENCE AND NEUROSURGICAL FACILITIES. BY LEVERAGING RESOURCES WITHIN THE WEST AFRICAN MEDICAL COMMUNITY AND PARTNERING WITH GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, WE ARE WORKING TOWARDS CREATING A LASTING INFRASTRUCTURE FOR HEALTHCARE DELIVERY TO BENEFIT THE UNDERSERVED PEOPLE OF GHANA AND WEST AFRICA.


PARTICIPATE IN THE AFRICA CLIMATE WEEK (ACW) EVENT WHERE VARIOUS GOVERNMENTS, BUSINESSES, INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS, AND CIVIL SOCIETY MEMBERS GATHER TO EXPLORE AND DISCUSS CLIMATE ACTION WITHIN THE AFRICAN CONTEXT. THE ORGANIZATION PLAYED A SIGNIFICANT ROLE BY HOSTING A SIDE EVENT THAT SHOWCASED THE INNOVATIVE AIRS APPROACH, EMPHASIZING THE PROVISION OF CLEAN AND RESILIENT ENERGY TO POWER ONSITE MEDICAL OXYGEN PRODUCTION. THE PARTICIPATION OF IGPC HIGHLIGHTS THE IMPORTANCE OF INTEGRATING HEALTHCARE SOLUTIONS WITH CLIMATE ACTION INITIATIVES, DEMONSTRATING A COMMITMENT TO PIONEERING SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS IN HEALTHCARE.
