S.H.E.D. BRINGS AWARNESS TO THE CONSTRUCTION COMMUNITY THROUGH THE S.H.E.D. BUILDING COMPETITION. HIGH SCHOOL CARPENTRY STUDENTS COMPETE TO BUILD A SHED DESIGNED BY THE WINNER OF THE DRAFTING COMPETITION FROM LOCAL HIGH SCHOOLS. UPON COMPLETION, SHEDS ARE AUCTIONED OFF AND THE MONEY IS USED TO SUPPORT FUTURE EVENTS AND THE EFFORTS OF S.H.E.D.; COMPETITION WINNERS ARE AWARDED AND SCHOLARSHIPS ARE PROVIDED FOR STUDENTS INVOLVED IN CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION.
