ST CHARLES UNITED WAY EMERGENCY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SHELTER FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN, TRANSPORTATION TO DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENTS, AND SEEKING EMPLOYMENT, FOOD, CLOTHING, COUNSELING, AND ASSISTANCE IN RELOCATING. PROVIDE REFERRAL SERVICES FOR LEGAL AID, CHILDCARE AND JOB REFERRALS. FIFTEEN CLIENTS HAVE BEEN SERVED.
VICTIMS OF CRIMINAL ABUSE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ADVOCATES TRAIN DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIMS ON HOW TO DRESS FOR COURT APPEARANCE, ACCOMPANY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIMS TO COURT, HELP THEM GET PROTECTIVE ORDERS, AND PROVIDE LIFE SKILL TRAINING. TEN CLIENTS HAVE BEEN SERVED.
