("AV") AIMS TO BUILD AND SUPPORT A BURGEONING NONPROFIT SECTOR THAT CAN ADVANCE SENSIBLE, FORWARD-THINKING VALUES AND ADVOCATE FOR LEGISLATION, REGULATIONS, GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS, AND CIVIC INITIATIVES TO ACHIEVE MORE ACCOUNTABLE, TRANSPARENT, AND EFFECTIVE GOVERNMENT; INCREASE INVESTMENT IN OUR PUBLIC SCHOOLS; PROTECT HEALTH CARE; BUILD A SAFE, MODERN INFRASTRUCTURE; PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT; AND ENSURE AN EQUITABLE ECONOMY THAT PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR EVERYONE.

WE CONDUCTED RESEARCH AND CONVENED EVENTS, BRIEFINGS, INDIVIDUAL AND SMALL GROUP MEETINGS, AND INTERVIEWS WITH PHILANTHROPISTS, NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, AND CIVIC LEADERS TO EDUCATE AND INFORM THESE STAKEHOLDERS ON THE CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMPACTING SOCIAL CHANGE AND PUBLIC POLICY IN ARKANSAS; AND TO GET INPUT FROM THESE STAKEHOLDERS ON WHAT EXPERTISE, DATA, AND TOOLS ARE NEEDED BY NONPROFITS IN ARKANSAS TO ACCOMPLISH THE NONPROFITS' MISSIONS AND POLICY AGENDAS.
WE INITIATED PROGRAMS AND PROVIDED GRANTS TO NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO FILL GAPS IN CIVIC INFRASTRUCTURE AND TO ADVANCE SENSIBLE, FORWARD-THINKING VALUES AND ADVOCATE FOR LEGISLATION, REGULATIONS, GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS, AND CIVIC INITIATIVES TO ACHIEVE MORE ACCOUNTABLE, TRANSPARENT, AND EFFECTIVE GOVERNMENT.
WE ALSO INITIATED PROGRAMS SUCH AS CONVENING A ROUNDTABLE OF NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND PROVIDED GRANTS TO NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO INCREASE CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AND TO DEVELOP PLANS TO EDUCATE CITIZENS ABOUT THE REDISTRICTING PROCESS.
