THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF GROVE PARK RENEWAL IS TO PROVIDE QUALITY AFFORDABLE HOUSING TO POOR AND DISTRESSED INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES LIVING IN GROVE PARK. IN ADDITION, GROVE PARK RENEWAL SEEKS TO CONNECT RESIDENTS OF ITS HOUSES, AS WELL AS OTHER MEMBERS OF THE GROVE PARK NEIGHBORHOOD, TO SOCIAL SERVICES AND EACH OTHER IN POSITIVE, CONSTRUCTIVE RELATIONSHIPS. IN 2022, GROVE PARK RENEWAL IMPROVED FOUR EXISTING RENTAL PROPERTIES, RENOVATED ONE HOUSE, CONVERTING IT INTO A RENTAL PROPERTY, AND PROVIDED HOUSING FOR 75 GROVE PARK RESIDENTS. GROVE PARK RENEWAL ALSO CONTINUED MANAGING AFFORDABLE HOUSING UNITS FOR SISTER NON-PROFITS. THE ENTITY MANAGES 42 UNITS, THE VAST MAJORITY OF WHICH ARE 60% AREA MEDIAN INCOME (AMI) AND UNDER HOUSING.
