ESG-CV GRANT PROVIDED MONIES THROUGH DHHS FOR CORONAVIRUS AID, RELIEF AND ECONOMIC SECURITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF PREVENTING, PREPARING FOR AND RESPONDING TO CORONAVIRUS AMONG HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS AND/OR FAMILIES BY MEANS OF STREET OUTREACH, CASE MANAGEMENT AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES. SHO PROVIDED TRANSPORTATION, FOOD, PERSONAL NEEDS, EMERGENCY SHELTER RELIEF FOR APPROXIMATELY 200 INDIVIDUALS.


PLHA (PERMANENT LOCAL HOUSING ALLOCATION) GRANT PROVIDED MONIES THROUGH HUMBOLDT COUNTY TO PROVIDE STREET OUTREACH PROJECTS TO ADDRESS URGENT PHYSICAL NEEDS OF THE PERSONS WHO ARE EXPERIENCING OR ARE AT RISK OF HOMELESSNESS BY PROVIDING EMERGENCY SHELTER, HOUSING AND OTHER URGENT AND NON-URGENT, NON-FACILITY-BASED CARE. SHO PROVIDED PROFESSIONAL OUTREACH SERVICES TO APPROXIMATELY 200 INDIVIDUALS INCLUDING AS MANY PERMANENT HOUSING SERVICES WE COULD IMPLEMENT.


SIP/WARMING CENTER (SHELTER IN PLACE AND WARMING CENTER)GRANT PROVIDED MONIES TO PROVIDE NON-CONGREGATE HOUSING AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO ELIGIBLE INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS IN HUMBOLDT COUNTY DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. SHO PROVIDED FOOD, PERSONAL SERVICES AND WRAP AROUND SERVICES AS WELL AS HOSTING WARMING CENTERS FOR HOMELESS/LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS DURING THE PANDEMIC.
