IT IS OUR MISSION TO ADVOCATE, EMPOWER, EDUCATE, AND SUPPORT FAMIIES EFFECTED BY FOSTER CARE. WE ACCOMPLISH IT BY BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS AND TRUST BETWEEN FAMILIES, THE COMMUNITY, AND ITS AGENCIES. WE ADVOCATE IN ORDER TO HELP FAMILIES AND FOR OUR CHILDREN TO BE SUCCESSFUL.

FOSTERING EVENTS: THIS PROGRAM CONSISTS OF GATHERINGS HELD ON AN AVERAGE OF ONCE PER MONTH, AND CONSISTS OF ONE OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING: SOCIAL GATHERING, GIVE AWAY OF ITEMS, FOOD, GAMES, AND ACTIVITIES. EVENTS ARE INTENDED TO BRING COMMUNITY AND BUILD/STRENGTH RELATIONSHIPS WITHIN OUR CAREGIVER COMMUNITY. DURING THIS FISCAL YEAR, FACT ACHIEVED THE GOAL OF CONDUCTING OVER 20 ACTIVITIES THAT BROUGHT OVER 300 FAMILIES TOGETHER.
FOSTERING KINDNESS PROGRAM: IS A PROGRAM THAT ALLOWS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR COMMUNITY DONORS TO SPREAD KINDNESS AND JOY TO LOCAL FOSTER/ADOPTIVE HOMES IN CENTRAL FLORIDA WITH ACTS OF KINDNESS. THROUGH THIS PROGRAM THE FACT TEAM WERE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE CLOSELY WITH OVER 300 FAMILIES, MATCHED THEIR NEEDS WITHIN THE FOSTER COMMUNITY, AND CONNECTED WITH WILLING COMMUNITY DONORS TO WORK ON ASSEMBLING CARE PACKAGES AND GIFT CARDS THAT WERE DELIVERED TO THE FAMILIES IN NEED.
FOSTERING CELEBRATION: THIS PROGRAM WAS CREATED TO SUPPORT OUR CAREGIVERS AND CELEBRATE THE CHILDREN AFFECTED BY FOSTER CARE. WE PARTNER WITH TWO ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE FIVE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS, AND A VIP ACTIVITY DAY WHICH ARE RANDOMLY SELECTED EVERY MONTH. THROUGH THIS PROGRAM FACT PROVIDED TO OVER 300 FAMILIES AN OPPORTUNITY TO INTEGRATE IN THE FOSTER COMMUNITY, CREATE POSITIVE MEMORIES, AND IMPROVE THEIR OVERALL WELL BEING.
FOSTERING TRANSITION PROGRAM: THIS PROGRAM WAS BEEN CREATED BY THE EMOTIONAL SUPPORT TEAM TO HELP SUPPORT ALL PARTIES DURING A TRANSITION BY PROVIDING SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE DURING TRANSITION AND A CELEBRATORY FAREWELL AND WELCOME HOME FOR THE CHILD AND FAMILY.THROUGH THIS PROGRAM FACT PROVIDED SUPPORT TO CAREGIVERS FROM 300 FAMILIES IMPROVING COMMUNICATION DURING TIME OF CHALLENGES, SUPPORTING A SMOOTH TRANSITION TO ESTABLISH CONTINUITY OF CHILDS RELATIONSHIP WITH CAREGIVER.
