Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3
THIS BOOSTER CLUB WAS CREATED TO ENCOURAGE KELSO HIGH SCHOOL WORLD LANGUAGE STUDENTS TO TRAVEL ABROAD. THE CLUB SUPPORTED THIS VISION WITH MULTIPLE FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES. TRIPS TO FRANCE, WA DC, AND JAPAN WERE ALL CANCELED DUE TO COVID 19. IN SUBSEQUENT YEARS, TRAVEL WAS EXTREMELY PRECARIOUS AND LIMITED. BY THE TIME INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL WAS A REASONABLY SAFE OPTION, THERE WERE NO STUDENTS, PARENTS, COMMUNITY MEMBERS, OR TEACHERS INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING IN FUNDRAISING FOR THIS PURPOSE. FOR THIS REASON, ALL REMAINING FUNDS WERE DONATED TO THE KELSO PUBLIC SCHOOLS FOUNDATION TO OFFER A ONE-TIME SCHOLARSHIP FOR A WORLD LANGUAGE GRADUATING SENIOR AND THE BOOSTER CLUB OFFICIALLY DISBAND.
