THE NORTHWEST ACADEMY IS A NONPROFIT, INDEPENDENT, CO-EDUCATIONAL, ACCREDITED COLLEGE PREPARATORY DAY SCHOOL (GRADES 6 THROUGH 12), WITH AN EMPHASIS ON RIGOROUS ACADEMICS AND THE ARTS. FOLLOWING THREE YEARS OF ADVANCE RESEARCH AND PREPARATION, THE ACADEMY OPENED IN THE FALL OF 1996. THE ACADEMY OFFERS MOTIVATED AND TALENTED STUDENTS PROGRAMS THAT EMPHASIZE AND VALUE CREATIVE THINKING, INDIVIDUAL CHOICE, ACADEMIC RIGOR, AND SELF-DISCIPLINE, TAUGHT BY MASTER TEACHERS AND PROFESSIONALS ACTIVE IN THEIR FIELDS.
