THE MISSION OF THE DUNN SCHOOL COMMUNITY IS TO EDUCATE THE WHOLE STUDENT TO THEIR FULLEST POTENTIAL IN PREPARATION FOR A LIFE OF LEARNING AND LEADERSHIP IN SOCIETY. THE SCHOOL ACCOMPLISHES THIS MISSION BY OPERATING A 6-12TH GRADE BOARDING AND DAY SCHOOL, WHICH PREPARES STUDENTS FOR A RIGOROUS COLLEGE CURRICULUM.

DUNN MIDDLE AND DUNN UPPER SCHOOLS PROVIDED 6TH THROUGH 12TH GRADE COLLEGE PREPARATORY EDUCATION TO APPROXIMATELY 87 BOARDING AND 166 DAY STUDENTS DURING THE FISCAL YEAR.
DUNN SCHOOL PROVIDES NEED BASED FINANCIAL AID TO ELIGIBLE STUDENTS. WE PROVIDE THIS AID BASED ON FINANCIAL NEED IN ORDER TO SERVE A DIVERSE STUDENT BODY AND TO PROVIDE A FULL, ENRICHING AND GLOBAL CLASSROOM ENVIRONMENT.
DUNN SUMMER ACADEMY IS A FOUR-WEEK RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM FOR RISING 8TH, 9TH, AND 10TH GRADERS. DUNN ACADEMY HAS TWO PROGRAMS: ESL AND LEARNING STRATEGIES. LOCATED IN CALIFORNIA'S CENTRAL COAST, DUNN SCHOOL IS AN IDEAL PLACE TO LEARN AND EXPLORE. ACADEMY STUDENTS STRENGHTEN ACADEMICS AND PARTICIPATE IN ENRICHING REGIONAL ACTIVITIES LIKE SURFING, ROCK CLIMBING, AND ARCHERY.
