ACADEMICS - THE KING'S ACADEMY IS A CHRIST-CENTERED COLLEGE PREPARATORY SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES 6-12. TKA OFFERS A VARIETY OF ACADEMIC CURRICULA, WITH CHOICES TAILORED TO THE INDIVIDUAL STUDENT'S TALENTS AND ASPIRATIONS. STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO CHOOSE THE CURRICULUM THAT BEST SUITS THEM, WHETHER IT BE A CHALLENGING ALL-AROUND COURSE OF STUDY OR ONE TAILORED TO A MORE SPECIFIC INTEREST OR GOAL. THIS MULTIFACETED CURRICULUM PREPARES GRADUATES FOR A COLLEGE CAREER BUILT ON THE CORNERSTONES OF INTELLECTUAL CURIOSITY, INGENUITY, DILIGENCE, AND CONFIDENCE. TKA OFFERS 18 ADVANCED PLACEMENT (AP) COURSES AND 11 HONORS COURSES. FROM THE CLASS OF 2021, 100% ARE ATTENDING COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY (84%-4 YEAR COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY; 16%-2 YEAR COLLEGE).
AUXILIARY - EVERYTHING AT TKA IS DESIGNED TO BRING STUDENTS CLOSER TO GOD, TO CREATE STRONG RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN STUDENTS AND STAFF, AND TO BUILD CHRISTIAN SERVANT LEADERS. ATHLETICS - THE KING'S ACADEMY ATHLETIC PROGRAM DESIRES TO "PURSUE VICTORY WITH HONOR AND TO TRAIN UP PLAYERS COMMITTED TO LIVING A LIFE OF EXCELLENCE IN ALL AREAS, WORKING UNTO THE LORD ALWAYS AND IN EVERY ASPECT OF THEIR LIVES. TKA IS A MEMBER OF THE CALIFORNIA INTERSCHOLASTIC FEDERATION (CIF), THE CENTRAL COAST SECTION (CCS), THE WEST BAY ATHLETIC LEAGUE (WBAL), THE PENINSULA ATHLETIC LEAGUE (PAL-FOOTBALL), AND SANTA CLARA VALLEY ATHLETIC LEAGUE (SCVAL). TKA OFFERS 50 ATHLETIC TEAMS (13 - FALL, 18 - WINTER, 19 - SPRING) HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS: BOYS & GIRLS BASKETBALL, CROSS COUNTRY, GOLF, SOCCER, SWIMMING & DIVING, TENNIS, TRACK & FIELD, VOLLEYBALL; BOYS BASEBALL, FOOTBALL; GIRLS SOFTBALL. JUNIOR HIGH SPORTS: BOYS & GIRLS BASKETBALL, CROSS COUNTRY, SOCCER, SWIMMING, TENNIS, TRACK & FIELD, VOLLEYBALL; BOYS FOOTBALL, BASEBALL; GIRLS SOFTBALL.
