EVEN WITH THE PANDEMIC HINDERING A SUCCESSFUL FUNDRAISING YEAR, DUE TO EVENTS LIKE THE BOSTON MARATHON, FALMOUTH ROAD RACE AND THE NY MARATHON BEING CANCELLED OR ALTERED, WE WERE ABLE TO STILL PAY GRANTS TO THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION ($50,000) AND WERE ABLE TO FUND 4 COMEBACK ASSISTANCE PROGRAM RECIPEINTS (APPROXIMATELY $20,000), AND WE WORKED ON BUILDING OUR PROGRAMS FOR 2022 SO THAT WE CAN DO MORE RESEARCH, EDUCATION, AWARENESS AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE.
