HEALING WINDS CREATED LASTING MEMORIES FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH CANCER AND THEIR LOVED ONES THROUGH THE THERAPEUTIC EXPERIENCE OF SAILING. SINCE 2014, WE OFFERED A BEAUTIFUL SAIL FOR THOSE LIVING WITH CANCER AND THOSE CARING FOR OUR SPECIAL GUESTS. WHEN COVID-19 DEVASTATED OUR WORLD, WE EXPANDED OUR SAILING EXCURSIONS TO HEALTHCARE HEROES AND THEIR LOVED ONES. DURING OUR 7 SAILING SEASONS, WE'VE TAKEN OVER 2,000 GUESTS ON THE BEAUTIFUL WATERS OF LAKE CHAMPLAIN FOR AN EXPERIENCE THEY WILL NEVER FORGET.IN JANUARY 2023, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS VOTED TO DISSOLVE HEALING WINDS. THIS WAS A DIFFICULT DECISION AND ONE THAT WAS MADE THOUGHTFULLY. WE THANK OUR GENEROUS SUPPORTERS WHO AFFORDED US THE ABILITY TO PROVIDE EACH SAIL AT NO COST TO OUR GUESTS.
