MICHWA PROVIDES THE CURRICULUM FOR TRAINING AND CONTINUING EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES TO COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS (CHWS) ACCROSS THE ENTIRE STATE AS WELL AS NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES AND ANNUAL EVENTS. THE TRAINING CURRICULUM IS BASED ON 8 CORE COMPETENCIES AND EVENTS ARE HELD WITH THE SUPPORT OF VOLUNTEERS.
