PRIVATE SCHOOL VILLAGE (PSV) IS A PARENT-LED, VOLUNTARY 501(C)3 NONPROFIT WORKING TO SUPPORT BLACK AND BROWN FAMILIES ONCE ENROLLED IN PRIVATE SCHOOLS SO THAT STUDENTS FULLY THRIVE. PSV EMPOWERS PARENT ENGAGEMENT TO INSTILL STUDENT WELL-BEING, NORMALIZE INCLUSIVE AND EQUITABLE COMMUNITIES, AND ENCOURAGE LASTING SYSTEMIC AND INSTITUTIONAL POLICY AND PROCESS CHANGE THAT WILL IMPACT A STUDENT'S HEALTHY DEVELOPMENT. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FAMILIES AND MORE THAN 65 (MOSTLY) LOS ANGELES PRIVATE SCHOOLS, PSV IS WORKING TO INCREASE RACIAL LITERACY, SOCIALIZATION, REPRESENTATION, AND SUPPORT RELATED RESEARCH. A HIGHLY COLLABORATIVE ORGANIZATION, PSV BRINGS TOGETHER FAMILIES AND STUDENTS FROM ACROSS PRIVATE SCHOOLS TO SHARE RESOURCES, CENTRALIZE OFFERINGS, AND TRULY BUILD COMMUNITY VIA ITS PROGRAMS WITH 4 CORE PROGRAM PILARS (ALSO KNOWN AS THE 4RS) RACIAL SOCIALIZATION; RACIAL LITERACY SKILL BUILDING SESSIONS; REPRESENTATION AND RESEARCH. RACIAL SOCIALIZATIONRACIAL SOCIALIZATION PREPARES CHILDREN FOR ANTICIPATORY EXPERIENCES, BUILDS CULTURAL PRIDE, AND EDUCATES ABOUT RACIAL INEQUALITIES.
