TREAD COALITION IS A NONPARTISAN, MEMBER-BASED ORGANIZATION THAT ADVOCATES FOR LANDOWNERS AND THE RURAL COMMUNITIES THEY LIVE IN. WE OFFER LANDOWNER RESOURCES, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING, EVENTS AND WORKSHOPS IN ADDITION TO LOBBYING AND COMMUNICATIONS.

TREAD MONITORS RELEVANT ISSUES IN THE TEXAS LEGISLATURE, SUCH AS PROPERTY TAXES, WATER RIGHTS, EMINENT DOMAIN AND MORE. WE PARTNER WITH PROFESSIONALS AND ORGANIZATIONS THAT ADVOCATE SOUND PUBLIC POLICY AND MAINTAIN A BIPARTISAN COMMITMENT TO EVALUATE AND PRIORITIZE ISSUES THROUGH GOOD SCIENCE AND ECONOMICS. TREAD IS A VOICE OF REASON REPRESENTING LANDOWNERS AT THE CAPITOL.
TREAD TALKS IS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING THAT HOSTS PANEL DISCUSSIONS ON PERTINENT LANDOWNER AND RURAL ISSUES. CURRENTLY THESE TALKS ARE HELD VIA ZOOM.
TREAD CANDIDATE FORUMS ALLOW FOR CANDIDATES TO INTERFACE WITH THE CONSTITUENCY OF THAT AREA/DISTRICT TO DISCUSS THEIR PLATFORM AND HOW THEY WILL ADVOCATE FOR AND DEFEND RURAL COMMUNITIES IF ELECTED TO OFFICE.
