THE FOUNDATION WILL RAISE FUNDS BY ORGANIZING AND HOSTING GOLF TOURNAMENTS, GALAS OR OTHER EVENTS.

THE FOUNDATION WILL RAISE FUNDS BY ORGANIZING AND HOSTING GOLF TOURNAMENTS, GALAS, AND OTHER EVENTS AS MAY BE DETERMINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. THE FOUNDATION WILL DONATE ALL NET PROCEEDS RAISED FROM SUCH EVENTS. THE FOUNDATION WILL ORGANIZE AND HOST EVENTS IN EACH REGION AND FUNDS RAISED AT THOSE EVENTS WILL BE CONTRIBUTED TO CHARITIES OPERATING IN EACH SUCH REGION. FINANCIAL SUPPORT MAY BE PROVIDED FOR A WIDE VARIETY OF PURPOSES, DEPENDING ON THE NEEDS OF EACH REGION. THE BOARD OF THE FOUNDATION WILL HAVE FULL AUTHORITY TO DETERMINE WHICH ORGANIZATIONS WILL RECEIVE FUNDING. FUNDS WILL BE PROVIDED ONLY TO CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS RECOGNIZED AS EXEMPT FROM UNITED STATES FEDERAL INCOME TAXATION PURSUANT TO SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1986, AS AMENDED. EVENTS HOSTED DURING THE YEAR INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: THE 8TH ANNUAL AP CHARITY GOLF CLASSIC, WITH GRANTS OF $76,000 AND EXPENSES OF $81,566; GOLF FORE GRATITUDE, WITH GRANTS OF $60,000 AND EXPENSES OF $63,719; AND THE AP CHARITY BEAN BAG TOURNAMENT, WITH GRANTS OF $11,000 AND EXPENSES OF $11,941.
